Day One Hundred & Fifteen (27th Dec) – Waitarere Beach (North Island)

In the morning Winston and I went out for a game of tennis and then met the girls at the local swimming pool to take Lachlan for his first swim. Jen who was Dumfries under 10’s champion was taking charge of Lachlan’s first training session… I mean swim. Fair do’s the boy did well. He took to the water well and in his inflatable chair positively enjoyed it. However, didn’t take too kindly to anyone making a splash and getting his head wet.

After all that excitement the little fella got his first hair cut – he didn’t like that… To be fair it was needed, he was starting to look a bit like a schemy!
