Day One Hundred & Eight (20th Dec) – Santiago

21 12 2010

After four months of this travelling thing we thought we were getting the hang of things. That was until this afternoon when we headed down to La Chascona, the poet Pablo Neruda’s house, only to find it was closed. In fact it was closed every Monday and had we bothered to check the guide book we would have known this.

It was a nice day so decided to have cocktails in Bellavista, the trendy bohemian part of town and just take it easy.
