Day Eighty Three (25th Nov) – El Calafate

28 11 2010

A few weeks back I hastily said I could very easily live in Mendoza, Argentina. I take this back, I could never live in a country where it is both acccepted and ‘the norm’ to deposit your used toilet paper in a small bin next to the toilet. That’s right, after using your velvety soft sheets (or in the case of a lot of places grease proof paper), you are required to carefully place it in a small bin with all the other soiled sheets. Sod that…

Jen was in charge of booking accommodation in El Calafate and she somehow found the only place with an indoor pool. So, seeing as we have had a busy few days and some marathon bus journeys we decided to take it easy by the pool today.
