Disaster on the buses…

I fear my two month love affair with South American buses is soon to be over. It’s hard to come by reliable information when taking buses around Argentina. It’s either a rubbish bus, different bus company, different connection time or a billion stops in the middle of nowhere. We shouldn’t complain too much, as we noticed the chickens were having a worse journey than us. Long story short we didn’t make it to Buenos Aires tonight. Instead we cashed our chips in and chose to spend half a day and one night in Cordoba.

What we saw of it (which was quite a lot) was very nice; churches, squares, museums, statues and grand public buildings… the usual stuff. In the evening we went for dinner and took in a tango show with a difference. The local tango school put on a very amateur tango display for us as we dined on Argentinean steak. Some of the shoes the gents wore were amazing. Dicko you would have loved them!
