Day Seventy Four (16th Nov) – Buenos Aires

18 11 2010

We had been told a lot of good things about Buenos Aires so were keen to get out there and explore the city for ourselves. Our first nights accommodation (last night) in Buenos Aires was fine. A twin room, blue, maybe a little small, possible claustrophobic – it was like a blue prison cell! We checked out and checked into a local hotel…

We spent the day walking around what soon became clear a beautiful city. We passed many important sights including the Casa Rosada which is the palace from which Evita addressed the nation. A little more dog poo on the streets than someone wearing flip flops would like, but yeah, very nice. ‘We’ got so carried away exploring Buenos Aires ‘we’ were too tired to go out for dinner, so ‘I’ had to go out and get food.
