Day Seventy One (13th Nov) – Bolivian border crossing

14 11 2010

Today was predominantly about getting out of Bolivia as quickly as possible. However, this was hampered by the sheer volume of Bolivians trying to cross the border into Argentina.  It took three hours to cross the border in the blazing sun. As border crossings go, three hours isn’t too bad, it’s just that getting into Bolivia took all of 30 seconds. They didn’t seem to care who came in.

Anyway, we are on the bus to Buenos Aires (28 hours) and will never forget our stunning tour of the salt flats, lagoons and volcanoes, but hope to forget the dust, litter and ugly towns.
