Day 36 (9th Oct) – Campo Grande

16 10 2010

Being so close to the border with Paraguay we could have made the short journey over the border, but there wasn’t much to do there but shop for cheap electronics and get another stamp on our passports. Instead we chose to do something far more interesting; I went to a power station… hold on… it’s the biggest hydro electric power station in the world. Producing 90% of Paraguay’s energy and 20% of Brazils – it was very impressive.

In the evening we took the overnight bus to Campo Grande. I’m telling you these buses are the way to travel. Planes are so yesterday!

His and hers matching beards – genius Mike.

If I know Jen half as well as I think I do, she’ll love it…
